He earned his degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge, and began his career as a youth counselor, basketball coach, and mental health advocate for the Department of Mental Health—spending over a decade helping families navigate conflict, trauma, and emotional breakdowns. His background also includes corporate and government training roles in the banking sector and public health systems.
Dwann went on to lead internal racial equity and communication trainings for one of California’s largest labor unions, facilitating multi-week workshops that addressed gaslighting, workplace trauma, and team accountability. His ability to translate emotional complexity into strategy has made him a go-to advisor for both organizational teams and individual professionals.
In the world of sports, Dwann works with elite financial firms to coach NFL, NBA, and boxing clients through communication challenges related to fame, family, finances, and identity. His athlete support programs offer a rare combination of emotional safety, clarity, and cultural understanding.
